And on the vidcast today...

Brutor Tribe asked me to put down some Angels live on BT Channel as another exercise in showing the Republic's populace that we are in fact protecting them from the evils of the universe. Whether we are doing enough or not is a hotly debated subject right now and best left for another day.

Anyway, I decided to have a little fun and hopped into my Breacher, that most maligned of frigates. Comedy hour on Brutor Tribe, I figured. Certainly my configuration was a laugh-a-second for me, though I suspect the angels who died were more surprised than amused. Apparently the replay had triple viewing figures when the advertisers pimped the fact I used a Breacher for the job... Maybe i should use it as an opportunity to start up some kind of public 'overhaul the Breacher design' movement or something.

As I was coasting back to Rens and flicking channels (gotta love being adept enough at ship engineering to convince the ship AI that civilian TV is acceptable to tune into whilst on a mission), I came accross a program looking at recently unearthed fragments of Starkmanir history. Some kind of audio recording of singing in a very rustic tribal dialect I couldn't make out. Goodness knows there are only a tiny handful of Starkmanir left in the cluster, and fewer still who are free - I wonder if they can shed any light on the subject?
